CCC
The full name of CCC certification is "China Compulsory Certification", which is a product conformity assessment system implemented by the Chinese government in accordance with laws and regulations to protect consumers’ personal safety and national security, strengthen product quality management. It was released on December 3, 2001 and fully implemented from May 1, 2002. The compulsory product certification system is an important system for national governance of product quality and safety, which requires compulsory certification management for products listed in the catalog.
The currently announced compulsory product certification systems include the "Regulations on the Administration of Compulsory Product Certification", "Requirements for the Administration of Compulsory Product Certification Marks", "Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification", and "Notice on Issues Related to the Implementation of Compulsory Product Certification". The products included in the compulsory certification catalog include household and similar use equipment, electronic products and safety accessories (formerly C08 class audio and video equipment, C09 class information technology equipment, C16 class telecommunications terminal equipment, with the addition of categories such as mobile power banks, lithium-ion batteries, and battery pack products).
The 3C mark is not a quality mark, but the most fundamental safety certification. Through solutions such as "unified Directory, unified standards, technical regulations, conformity assessment procedures, unified certification marks, and unified charging rates", it thoroughly solves the problems of repeated polices, repeated evaluations, repeated charges, and the lack of differentiation between certification and law enforcement in China's product certification system for a long time. It also establishes technical regulations, standards, and conformity assessment procedures that are consistent with international rules, which can promote trade facilitation and liberalization.
CEPREI Certification Body has been engaged in the certification/testing/evaluation of the fields including various electronic and electrical product quality, safety and reliability assurance levels, and enterprise management capabilities for a long time. It is a national certification body of the China Electronic Component Quality Certification Committee, the Guangzhou Electronic Product Testing Station of the former China Electrical Product Certification Committee, and the Fifth Inspection Department of the National Electronic Product Production License Issuance Office. CEPREI Certification Body has been engaged in the compulsory safety certification of China Commission for Conformity Certification of Electrical Equipment(CCEE) since 1987, issuing over 10000 certificates. CEPREI has been designated by the State Administration for Market Regulation as a compulsory certification body for the certification of two major categories: household and similar use equipment, electronic products, and safety accessories (including mobile power banks, lithium-ion batteries, and battery packs). It has dozens of inspectors who possess rich industry experience in related products and technical standard research experience, and years of experience in factory quality assurance capability assessment and inspection/audit.
