China Japan South Korea and South Asia Southeast Asia Digital Cooperation Think Tank Seminar Successfully Held

On September 29th, the first "China Japan Korea and South Asia Southeast Asia Digital Cooperation Think Tank Seminar" co hosted by the Certification Center of the Fifth Institute of Electronics of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Yunnan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology was successfully held in Kunming, Yunnan Province. The conference invited ten overseas think tank experts from Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos and other countries, as well as scholars from well-known domestic enterprises and research institutions such as Joyful Group, Harbin Institute of Technology, Yunnan Academy of Social Sciences, iFlytek, KPMG, and Shugen Internet.

On the morning of the 29th, some attending guests were organized to conduct research in the Wuhua Digital Economy Industrial Park in Kunming. In the afternoon, with the theme of "high-quality promotion of digital cooperation and development in China, Japan and the Republic of Korea, South Asia and Southeast Asia", the seminar focused on three major themes: "major research on regional digital economic cooperation and the practice of international digital cooperation agreements", "safe and credible technology practice of escorting digital trade corridors", and "international digital trade hotspot concerns and discussion of digital service opportunities at sea". The seminar actively promoted equal participation, cooperation and exchanges in the digital field between China, Japan and the Republic of Korea and countries in South and Southeast Asia, deepened the "the Belt and Road" partnership, ASEAN and China, Japan and the Republic of Korea (10+3) cooperation initiative, promoted interregional digital cooperation and development, sought innovation in digital theory and practice, removed trade barriers, unleashed the vitality of regional digital economy, and worked together to advance the digital destiny. Community building.

The scholars and guests who participated in the seminar shared a lot of cutting-edge information and put forward many ideas and suggestions for the development of think tanks. In view of this, the seminar aims to "promote regional cooperation and exchange, share research results of think tanks", deepen the implementation of the "Kunming Consensus on Jointly Promoting Digital Cooperation between the Two Asian Regions", and jointly launch the "South Asia Southeast Asia Digital Think Tank Cooperation Initiative" by participating think tank scholars.

Through in-depth exchanges among digital think tanks from China, Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asian countries, we will effectively integrate the intellectual advantages of various digital economy development research resources, jointly address the challenges in the coordinated development of regional digital economy, promote the coordinated development of regional digital economy research, and achieve common progress and prosperity.

The CEPREI Certification Center will continue to conduct research on digital governance, data security, and international standards in South and Southeast Asia, supporting the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in conducting research on the topic of "Enhancing Data Governance Capability and Talent Cultivation Mechanism of ASEAN, China, Japan, and South Korea Enterprises", and supporting the South Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology in implementing the Two Asia Digital Cooperation Strategy.
