Cooperation Between the Two Leading Organizations: CEPREI signed a MOU with Korea Testing Certification (KTC)

In the morning of November 14, 2023, CEPREI Certification Body and Korea Testing Certification (KTC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at the Zengcheng headquarters of the Fifth Electronics Research Institute of MIIT. Juyong Wan, Chief Engineer of the Fifth Electronics Research Institute of MIIT, and Chengyi AN, President of the KTC, attended the meeting and delivered speeches., KTC Chief Lezhen BAI, Center Director Wudun CUI, Director Minzhu XIAN, General Manager of CEPREI Certification Body Guoxiang ZHAO, Deputy General Manager Xiaoyin LIU and others attended the signing ceremony.

Chief Engineer from CEPREI Juyong Wan said in his speech that China is a major trading country, and is currently promoting the construction of a quality power, comprehensively improving the overall level of quality. Certification, as an important part of the national quality infrastructure and a key part of integrated development of domestic and foreign trade, its international development is the only way to achieve the above goal. We look forward to greater cooperation between the two sides in the future.

KTC President Chengyi AN said in his speech that CEPREI and KTC are both leaders in the testing and certification industry in their respective countries, and through the signing of this MOU, a strong alliance will be made and customers will be better served. In addition, China is accelerating the pace of technological innovation, therefore KTC looks forward to broader cooperation in emerging industries in the future.

General Manager Guoxiang ZHAO and President Chengyi AN signed MOU on behalf of both parties. The MOU confirmed the cooperation between the two sides in CCC certification and KC certification, strengthened technical exchanges and market expansion in semiconductors, electric vehicles, energy storage batteries, photovoltaic modules/inverters, medical equipment, etc. Both parties were willing to further promote the exchange of laws, regulations and technical standards between the two countries. After the signing ceremony, the two sides made in-depth exchanges on products in emerging fields such as new energy, biological health, intelligent robots, and drones.

The signing of this MOU marks that CEPREI and KTC will establish long-term and more in-depth cooperation in certification technology innovation and international market development, so as to draw on each other’s advantages, achieve mutual benefits and win-win results, and build a more efficient quality and safety trust transmission mechanism.
