CEPREI Rated as DCMM Excellent Assessment Agency! The Only One in China
On February 17, 2023, the China Data Governance Annual Conference was held in Beijing. The conference announced a series of data management achievements such as the "2022 China Data Management White Paper", and discussed the following topics: industrial digital empowerment, digital intelligence and data assignment, the cultivation of the data element market, and the construction of a data management ecosystem.
The annual meeting was hosted by the China Electronic Information Industry Federation. Jianwei WANG, Deputy Director of the Information Technology Development Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Guangnan NI, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Zixue ZHOU, Executive Vice President of the China Electronic Information Industry Federation, and Sumei GAO, Secretary General, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.
The conference presented awards to the 2022 DCMM Excellent Assessment Agencies and the winners of DCMM Standard Knowledge Competition. After being rated as the only DCMM excellent assessment agency in China in 2021, CEPREI Certification Body was once again on the list, becoming the only assessment agency in China to receive this honor twice. Since 2020, CEPREI Certification Body has been carrying out in-depth DCMM standard implementation assessment in 21 provinces across the country, covering ten major industries such as finance, electric power, and information technology, serving 334 enterprises, ranking first in the country, and playing an active role in strengthening the level of data governance in various regions and fields and promoting the development and application of big data.

At the meeting, Guoxiang ZHAO, General Manager of CEPREI Certification Body, published three group standards in the field of data governance: T/CITIF 001-2023 Data Integration and Service- Capability Assessment System- Capability Requirements, T/CITIF 002-2023 Data Storage Security Capability Maturity Model and T/CITIF 003-2023 Information Technology Service- Data Security Capability Model.
General Manager Guoxiang ZHAO published three group standards in the field of data governance
In response to Data Article 20 and national policies such as the "14th Five-Year Plan for the Development of the Digital Economy", the three standards were jointly developed by more than 70 industry representative enterprises and scientific research institutes such as Huawei, Baidu, and Tencent led by CEPREI Certification Body, filling the gaps in data integration and services, data storage security, and information technology service data security assessment in China. These standards, together with DCMM((Data management Capability Maturity Model) and CS (Information System Construction and Service Capability Assessment System) standard and other standards, forms a system that promotes the modernization and development of the national data governance system and governance capabilities.
At present, data has become an important factor of production and a basic strategic resource of the country. The Chinese government attaches great importance to the governance of data elements, and clearly proposes to build a multi-party collaborative governance mode that involves government, enterprises and society. CEPREI Certification Body will continue to do its job in the research and development of data governance standards and DCMM assessment, consolidate the digital foundation from all levels such as standards and specifications, application practices, etc., and contribute to improving the data management capabilities of the whole society, promoting the development of industrial digitization and digital industrialization, and promoting the high-quality development of the digital economy.
