CEPREI Certification Body Issued Certificate to China’s First "Carbon Neutrality" Factory in the Daily Chemical Industry

Recently, CEPREI Certification Body issued the first domestic carbon neutral factory certification certificate to Liby Group's Nansha Plant. The certification reflects the innovative strength and responsibility of Liby Group, and shows that the company has taken a solid step in green innovation and development.

Carbon neutrality is an environmentally friendly approach that is committed to sustainable development. Individuals, enterprises or organizations calculate the equivalent amount of carbon dioxide emissions directly or indirectly produced by daily activities and the economic costs of offsetting these carbon dioxide. Through tree planting or other environmental protection projects carried out by specialized institutions, the corresponding amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere can be offset and the carbon footprint of individuals, enterprises or organizations can be eliminated.

Since the country put forward the "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" strategy, CERPEI Certification Body has responded positively and launched a number of relevant certifications to help green development, including carbon neutrality certification. In this certification, CEPREI organized a carbon neutrality certification for Liby Group's Nansha Plant, and guided Nansha Plant to steadily and continuously promote the implementation of carbon neutrality by decomposing the long-term goal of carbon neutrality into each implementation year.
